SA-1044 is a solid acrylic resin, a copolymer of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and n-butyl methacrylate (n-BMA). It is designed for industrial coatings and inks requiring high hardness, heat resistance, and fast drying.

Chemical & Performance Basis:

MMA provides hardness and heat resistance (Tg 70°C), while n-BMA contributes flexibility and solubility. Their copolymerization balances these properties. Its medium molecular weight (Mw 40,000) and low inherent viscosity (IV 0.19) facilitate processing and film formation.
